Were you able to print any of them? If so, how did they look? My guess is that they had slightly more graininess. Also, because these were made under controlled lighting the contrast was lower on the negative and the lack of 25 grams of ss was not an issue.

There is a brief discussion of Perfection XR-1 in the new edition of the Film Developing Cookbook. The formula is proprietary so the exact formulation is not known, but we do give two patent formulas that are very close. It's in Chapter 10, page 128. We forgot to put it in the Index.
