I've found a lot of conflicting information about the shelf life of Mytol, ranging from "it lasts a few days" to "should be good for a year in a sealed brown bottle", etc. I don't recall seeing any mention of its shelf life in the Cookbook. PB, If you are using the divided developer to process sheet film, depending on the film, the divided developer would allow you to inspect development after the second bath and return it to the first if you want to push it further, going a second and even 3rd round if you are trying to achieve ...

If you experience problems with a variety of films and different developers, then my guess is that it’s either technique (less likely) or your equipment.
